“Tubing Annulus Stoppage Cleaning by “Megathrust” method” article was released in specialist periodical “Oil&Gas Industry of Ukraine”.
The article fabula is based on REGION’s theoretical research and long-term practical experience in wells chemical treatments and servicing with nitrogen units and specialized equipment. The article proposes to look at method improvement of tubing string annulus stoppage cleaning by means of production casing pressure above stoppage reducing to minimum with nitrogen unit and special sliding sleeve, and simultaneous maximum possible pressurization under the stoppage, and perforation zone adsorption blockage by the gel.

Service company REGION won contracts for 26 wells workover operations on Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC fields.
Currently Region proceeds operations with two coiled tubing fleets under two previous tenders. For undisturbed operations performance during lock down restrictions all the company personnel are provided with all necessary protective means, and acquainted with action plan in case employee suspected of COVID-19 recognition. We would like to share with you our autumn operations shots. In winter time they look especially warm.
Liner hanging and cementing complex design improvement.
The proposed article covers design improvement of liner hanging and cementing on slip hanger complexes with external liner packer, used for gas wells casing in difficult geology (active water-bearing horizons interbedded with caving tendency layers presence).

Conference GeoDrilling III.
GeoDrilling III Conference, which took place in Poltava on April 18-19, was marked by special, chamber aura. Main speeches subjects, connected with mud using, caught interest of field-specific audience, who were able to absorb speakers’ information on professional level. Most speeches plot came down to the fact, that customers, in favor of classical approaches, very often unwisely leave out of sight practical experience of companies, for years dealing with mud services in Ukraine. But meantime, many Ukrainian companies continue to pay attention not only to technological process refinement, but also apply scientific methodologies while muds development, and modelling their downhole behavior. A noteworthy detail is that our Drilling company REGION also has effective solutions complex of muds application, specifically connected to elimination of their impact to the following stages of formation opening and well operation. These solutions have been effectively applied on many companies’ fields: NAFTOGAZVYDOBUVANNYA, GEO-ALLIANCE, SMART-ENERGY GROUP OF COMPANIES and others.
Fluid Oscillation Tool.
Recently (February 1-28) REGION successfully performed series of wells chemical treatment operation for DTEK Group with FOT (Fluid Oscillation Tool). Lately Fluid Oscillation Tool has been successfully used by world leading oil&gas service companies. Its operational principle is based on fluid oscillator technology, which gives rise to liquid pulsatory oscillation. It (oscillation) further form pulsatory wavelike impact to bottomhole formation zone with ultrasonic frequency. The waves are propagated spherically, thus providing 360° interval coverage. It reduces skin-factor throughout drainage area equally, that further results in productive layer permeability increase, and significant well production growth. FOT is placed straight across productive perforation intervals with CT. Above FOT properties allow to increase significantly interval treatment efficiency, shorten well response time, and essentially enlarge production rates. That accordingly leads to significant cost advantage to the customers.
10th International Anniversary Ukrainian Energy Forum.
10th International Anniversary Ukrainian Energy Forum “National production and power supply increase, diversification and reliability via reforms, transparency and modernization” will take place in Kiev 26-28 February 2019. Host of the event is Adam Smith Conferences (Great Britain). Within the conference frames the launch of electronic auctions for 30 subsoil use permits in 10 areas of Ukraine will be held. Total fields area is 4.630km2, and it is one more feasible reason to attract new players to investment market of Ukraine. Many new attendees have already confirmed their participation: PGNiG (Poland), Nafta (Slovakia), Beiken Energy & Zhongman (China), SOCAR AQS (Azerbaijan), and many other Ukrainian and foreign companies.

REGION will perform workover operations on 6 UGV wells for 72mln UAH.
“Drilling Company REGION” won contract in one of four lots for 6 wells complex workover services outsourced on Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC fields with total value UAH 72mln. Detailed information you can find in Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC report published 13 December on public procurement system Prozorro.
