Frac jobs

"Region" Company within the period from 24 till 28 of October 2011 successfully carried out frac jobs in two wells of Olgovskoye oilfield ("Kub-gas" Ltd).

30 and 40 tons of propping agent were injected. For these jobs we used liquid systems of “Trican” company. Proppant slurry injection speed reached 3.5 m3/min. Maximum proppant concentration in the slurry was 1000 kg/m3. Wellhead pressure during hydraulic fracturing reached 590 atm.

For this procedure "Region" Company involved four pumping units with  hydraulic capacity 2,000 hp, acid-blender with maximum slurry flow 9.5 m3/min, control station, manifold skid and proppant carrier with load capacity 40 tons. Completion of the first well was successfully made by coiled tubing and nitrogen machinery. The second well completion went on independently. Now we are conducting researches to choose optimal working conditions for wells.
