Region Company continues drilling of well # 105 Mehedovsko-Golotovschinske field
(Poltavska
oblast, Ukraine), current bottomhole depth is 4765 m.
The borehole was successfully cased with 245 mm string up to a depth of
4650 m.
Well drilling is proceeded
according to the project. The Customer is Regal Petroleum plc.

On 15-16 of November 2012 Region Ltd. has successfully performed foam-acid formation treatment of carbonate reservoir on one of the wells of Rohan field (Ukraine, Kharkov region). The Customer was Energy-Service Company Esko-Pivnich.
Prior to the works execution Region’s engineers had been provided with complete data on the well as well as core samples, which allowed conducting laboratory research and selecting the optimal formulation of acid composition. Pre-operational data analysis also showed that the optimal result in production increase would be obtained by using exactly foam-acid composition, since on the one hand higher depth of penetration of active acid composition to the formation is achieved, and on the other hand foam-acid composition has a self-diverting effect – getting into the permeable part of the formation foam-acid partially blocks it from further penetration, which leads to a uniform treatment of the whole thickness of the production horizon and expansion of permeability profile. The performed operations have allowed to obtain the significant increase in production of the well.
On the 23th-25th of October at the 16th International show “Oil and Gas 2012” Region Company presented its newest technologies of oil and gas well drilling, workover and stimulation.
Visitors were granted an up-close look at the Company’s experience and projects on such issues as water invasion and sand control. The latest achievements in workover and deep-well drilling were introduced. Significant attention was paid to coiled tubing technologies, abrasive jet perforation and hydraulic fracturing.

"Region" Company within the period from 24 till 28 of October 2011 successfully carried out frac jobs in two wells of Olgovskoye oilfield ("Kub-gas" Ltd).
30 and 40 tons of propping agent were injected. For these jobs we used liquid systems of “Trican” company. Proppant slurry injection speed reached 3.5 m3/min. Maximum proppant concentration in the slurry was 1000 kg/m3. Wellhead pressure during hydraulic fracturing reached 590 atm.
For this procedure "Region" Company involved four pumping units with hydraulic capacity 2,000 hp, acid-blender with maximum slurry flow 9.5 m3/min, control station, manifold skid and proppant carrier with load capacity 40 tons. Completion of the first well was successfully made by coiled tubing and nitrogen machinery. The second well completion went on independently. Now we are conducting researches to choose optimal working conditions for wells.
